About Us

Pearlstein’s Furniture was founded in 1945 by Ronald Pearlstein Sr.  When it’s doors first opened customers could buy furniture for a small down payment take their items home and then pay the remaining balance off in small monthly increments.  Ronald Pearlstein Srs. three sons, Ronnie Jr., Marty, and Bob would go door to door collecting these payments.  When Marty Pearlstein passed away and Bob Pearlstein decided to stay in real estate, Ronnie Jr. took over the management and day-to-day running of the store eventually bringing in a new partner, Saul Victor, in 1970.

On the retirement of Ronnie Pearlstein Jr., Saul Victor bought him out and became sole proprietor.   While Saul Victor continued the in-store credit for a more years the store eventually changed to a cash and carry or lay-a-way policy and also began accepting all major credit cards, the same system Saul’s son, Howard Victor, now continues today.
